Leaders in Action

Each year The Junior League of Florence presents awards and scholarships to young women in the community who exemplify outstanding leadership and volunteerism.

Qualifications:

- Rising Senior from each area high school
- Well-rounded young woman respected by both faculty and peers for proactive efforts to better her community
- Genuine interest in improving the community and actively involved in that effort
- GPA of 2.5 or higher

Selection:

The recipient will be selected by faculty and staff members of their high school and presented a plaque along with a five-hundred dollar scholarship by The Junior League of Florence, Inc. Leaders in Action program honors young women in our local community who exemplify outstanding leadership.
