This annual run/walk 5K takes place at the Fitness Forum in Florence each spring. The event is sponsored by The Junior League and is organized by the provisional class. All proceeds from the event are donated to the Durant Children’s Center.

The Pee Dee Heart Ball is an annual Florence event that offers an evening of elegant dining and entertainment while serving as a fundraiser for the American Heart and American Stroke Associations. The Junior League participates by registering guests at check-in in addition to working live/silent auctions.

The Pee Dee Heart Walk is one of Florence’s most prominent awareness events. The Heart Walk is sponsored by The American Heart Association and is annually held at Francis Marion University. The purpose of the event is to raise funds to fight heart disease and stroke-- the nation’s #1 and #3 killers, respectively. Junior League members typically volunteer their time along the course or at beverage stations.

A free and open-to-the-public event, Cookies and Cocoa with Santa is a community holiday highlight. Sponsored by The Junior League and held at the Durant Children’s Center, Cookies and Cocoa with Santa offers children holiday treats such cookies, cocoa, and holiday crafts in addition to pictures with Santa.

The WBTW Treats for Kids event is designed to provide handicapped/disadvantaged children with a barrier-free environment in which they can trick-or-treat on Halloween. The Junior League sponsors a table which provides League-donated toys, treats, and table decorations. Junior League members also volunteer to distribute the donated goods to the children.
